On Saturday, 27th July 2013, the Late John Jennings founded the Art School—his pride and joy. The Art School was a project he had envisioned long before joining the LADC. He began with just eight students, most of whom were new to painting in oils. The class grew so rapidly that he had to introduce a waiting list due to limited spaces.
Today, the Art School attracts students from various parts of the world. Some of their artwork is displayed within the school, while others have been exhibited and sold. The Art School also showcases some of the projects he had hoped to accomplish this year and in the future.
We are deeply honoured to have had John as part of our community during his time here. He will be greatly missed, but we remain committed to advancing the dreams and vision he had for the Art School.
