May is here again, and with it comes National Walking Month a great reminder to slow down, step outside, and move a little more. This year, we’re keeping things simple and inviting you to join us every Sunday in May for a relaxed community walk.
We’ll be meeting at Love Assembly Community Centre L8 6QH and setting off at 1:30pm each week. Whether you’ve been meaning to get more active or you just fancy a change of scenery, this is an easy way to get started.
You can choose what works best for you:
- A light 15-minute walk
- A comfortable 30-minute walk
- Or a longer 1-hour walk
There’s no “right” pace here. Some will walk briskly, others will take it slow and that’s perfectly fine. The goal is simply to move, connect, and enjoy the moment.
What makes these walks special isn’t just the steps it’s the conversations along the way. We’ll walk, talk, laugh, and take a break from the usual routine together.
So if you’re free on a Sunday afternoon, come along. Bring a friend if you like, or just come as you are. You might be surprised how something as simple as a walk can lift your whole day.
