Following the success from the pilot 2022 Summer Internship Programme, we are expanding the scope of the internship for this summer 2023. The proposed internship project for this year will be provided to young people and adults between the ages of 11-18 years.

The summer internship will provide on-line training, certification and work-placement within the charity, our church, and our partner organisation; The Liverpool Ark Discovery Centre CIC; where there will be hand-on mentorship for the interns, basic bespoke certification in specialised area of interest, a team-building exercises, a daytrip, and group internship project to be carried out at the end of the program.

What will the successful candidate be doing?

Successful candidates will

  • Trainee Administrative Role: Interns will support the administrative functions of the community centre, such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and assisting with general office tasks.
  • Trainee Videographer/Photographer Intern: This Video Editor interns role will play a crucial part in enhancing the community centre’s digital presence, creating engaging video content for promotional materials, events, and social media platforms. The intern will have the opportunity to develop technical skills in video editing while contributing to the overall communication and marketing efforts of the community centre.
  • Trainee Digital Marketer: Interns will assist in managing the church and Community Interest Company’s social media platforms, creating content, and promoting events and activities online. They may also contribute to marketing campaigns and outreach efforts to increase community engagement.
  • Trainee IT Support: Interns will contribute to the security of the church’s IT system and platforms, providing technical support and ensuring the church’s systems run smoothly.  They will also support a stakeholder in building a copyrighted online game.
